As these sensors move through the grass, it detects moisture within the grass blades. When the LawnBott Spyder LB1200 robotic lawn mower approaches anything that's not living grass, it stops and goes in another direction. This means concrete, rocks, dirt, mulch, pine straw, dead grass or any thing that is not living grass will send this lawnmower in another direction.
